Happy New Year

Just to start there have been problems with my blog, this is currently my 3rd blog used. This is the only blog i will be using from now on.

Yes the first blog of 2007 for Dick Daniels. This one is nothing to do with my wrestling just something to say Happy New Year to everyone.

What did i do last night i hear ? well went to a new year party with loads of twats that couldnt keep their drink down so they decided to be sick in the hosts bedroom, parents bedroom and living room. I decided to leave at 1am as i really couldn't stand it much longer, it was seriously to much disrespect to someone else's house.

My new years resolutions ? Well there are two... for those who didn't know Dick Daniels was a vegetarian, but as of January 1st 2007 he no longer is. I decided not to become vegetarian because being a wrestling, and hoping for it to be a full time job in a few years to come, i need to start putting on more strength and alot more stuff which leads me onto the second resolution is what im pretty sure many people do each year is to get into shape. Shape meaning muscles. So they are my two main resolutions for this year, even though i never do resolutions....

Also can you believe someone had the balls to call me emo...

Also id like to mention there is a comment box just below where id appreciate a comment on what your views on my blog is.

The Christmas Show

The Christmas show shown Dick Daniels in action for the first time. It was Dick Daniels vs Nick Mace. I had to admit that i was very excited about the match. Nick, my opponent, had a few years experience and it was up to him really to make sure the match goes off well. When I heard my music started to play for the first time i wasn't ready, i had to rush and quickly put my hair back (it didn't go back properly and looked stupid) and as i went out there (with my manager Joey Bonez) i was really nervous, and the nerves kicked in big time. As i went out i lost all sense of character and went out angry. That wasn't good at all seeing that my character was laid back and laughed at others. The crowd ate it up completely. It was brilliant as they were taking the piss out of me and i ripped it at them. I knew i done a good job when they booed me. As i went into the ring it went alright, I'm not sure if others could see me shaking through nerves but i was scared. So i started to do my routine and put my jacket into the corner and took my Dickie bow off and started to piss the crowd off by doing my hair and looking in the mirror with Bonez shouting how loverly i looked :). Then Nick came out and the crowd cheered him like anything, he was over with the crowd the second he walked out. Which was brilliant as it gave me less to do to get the crowd to cheer him and boo me. So the match started off without a hitch, we both knew what to do and we done it. Within around 3 minutes of the match i was getting used to the crowd and my nerves went off. The worst bit of the match is when we both forgot what to do, as i went to pick him up we both forgot what to do, he asked me what was next and that made me more nervous as i didn't know either. So we made some stuff up for a few minutes. But we remembered the main bits, of where i choked him with my jacket and then i hid the jacket from the ref and put him into a sleeper hold, the crowd loved that bit. They went over with me and hated me, which obviously was a good thing as that is what i wanted.
The ending went good with me going for my swantom bomb from the top rope, him moving, Nick putting me in his TKO, then i get to my feet and the lift him up for an Alabama slam, but he reversed it and pinned me in a sunset flip pin. The crowd cheered him like anything when he pinned me. I done a bit more and had a fit on the ring and the crowd laughed at that. It was all good apart from the bit where we both forgot what to do, but the crowd didn't know that so it was good altogether to me.

Then after the match i saw i was in the Royal Rumble later on. I entered 11th. When i came out people started to laugh and boo me and i went over to the just thrown out Brett Banner and he 'scared' me back to the ring and Robbie Blaze grabbed me by the hair and pulled me in and gave me to Nick who then just battered me a bit and chucked me out. I hung on and they both attempted to get rid of me, but it was Robbies kick to my hands that saw me falling to the floor and i was eliminated. The winner was eventually Big Bad Donaghan.

So after that had happened i walked back stage and i was alright. Just waiting for my next match....

The Beginning

The though to open a new blog for the up and coming superstar known in the wrestling business as "Daring" Dick Daniels had just come up into my long and forgotten head. I wanted to create a website but i really cannot be bothered to go through all the uploading and finding free hosts etc. So i thought id take the easy option and create a nice and easy blog website/page.

Where it all began.

I started wrestling back on the 9th of July 2006. A long time friend (Andrew Heaven) told me about K-Star Wrestling on the college road and i thought to myself why not see what actual wrestling is like. Seeing that I've been a fan of wrestling since the age of 6 going on 7. So on Sunday 9th July 2006 we both decided to pay the £25 seminar which basically told you the basics of wrestling which is break fall (where you stop yourself from hurting when you fall) and then after that day was over, i went home and thought 'this is my future'. I was trained by Richard Withford aka Staxx (i think thats how his surname is spelt) and Carl Brooke aka Carl Mizzery (i think thats his surname =] ) and they are possibly the most greatest trainers ever.

So Andy and myself started to go every Sunday, costing £8 and it is well worth it. Comparing that price to the prices charged in America, its a bargain.

So a few months later (approx 2) it was September and i had my first grading. Gathering a total of 56 points (i think) i scored a low blue band grading which is pretty good considering ive only done it for 2 months. My grading partner was also a new trainer named John aka The Razor. Andy, John and myself all got lower blue gradings which is expected from the time that we've been there.

So the months went on and i started collecting together a few names that my wrestling name could of been. The name i mostly wanted to use was 'RedDevil' but as K Star used to have a 'DareDevil' i couldnt use it. So i changed it to 'RedDevil' Danny Dare, but then in a training session Staxx randomly came up with 'Daring' Dick Daniels and its stuck since. I didnt like the name to start with but it stuck with me and i like it now. My charactor is basically a cocky bastard that thinks hes the greatest and doesn't like people laughing at him. Its a brilliant charactor which is brilliant playing.

So in December i got my wrestling boots and knee pads and a lent top from Tyler Rayne and i had my very first match...
